Thelamont is a ceramic studio based in Barcelona, dedicated to the creation of handcrafted ceramic pieces, each one consciously shaped with care and intention. At the core of their work lies a poetic dialogue between human touch and material presence. Through clays rich in chamotte and mineral traces, each piece unveils textures and surfaces that echo the raw essence and unrefined beauty of the earth.

Chelsea van den Berg, founder of Thelamont studio, discovered her love for ceramics early on while shaping clay with her grandmother. However, it was during her time living in Kyoto, Japan, that this passion truly took shape. Deeply inspired by the irregular forms of tea bowls and sake cups, she found in clay her most authentic means of expression.

Today, she works from her studio on the outskirts of Barcelona, where the fusion of Mediterranean simplicity and the depth of Japanese aesthetics profoundly influences her practice. Her pieces, distinguished by organic silhouettes and experimental textures, embody the human trace as an essential element. Guided by intuition and a deep connection to nature, Chelsea’s work conveys an austere beauty that invites reflection on everyday objects.

Rooted in the joyful, carefree spirit of childhood, this collection is inspired by the quiet wonder of long summer days filled with play, imagination, and slow discovery. Seen through the eyes of a mother, each piece recalls moments of unhurried magic: gathering stones in the woods, drawing in the sand, collecting shells, or turning branches into magic wands. The collection seeks to preserve that fleeting sense of freedom, where the ordinary becomes extraordinary through a child’s eyes.
Special thanks to Luna, Chelsea's daughter, who contributed to all the campaign photographs.
