La Flor Cerval is a wool brand based in Asturias, on the northern coast of Spain. Born in a modest mountain home, from a relationship of interdependence with the landscape and nature.

In Asturias, “Cerval” means “wild”, a fitting word to reclaim the beauty of the rustic.

The collaboration between Tangerine and La Flor Cerval was born from “Marisa and the Elves,” a story that she has shared with each of her children, and from the capota, the little bonnet worn by Marisa herself.

A unique and versatile piece that celebrates the boundless magic of childhood. A tribute to past generations and to the timeless art of knitting, weaving together stories, warmth, and tradition.

She began to connect with her surroundings and with the resources available to her; this connection led her to work with the wool from her own sheep.

She learned and experimented alongside local artisans who taught her how to wash, process, and spin the wool. Today, she produces 100% natural Xalda wool yarn, along with blankets, socks, sweaters and coats.

Marina not only works to restore the value of native wool but is also the mother of three children, whom she teaches to connect with nature and live in harmony with their surroundings.

Special thanks to Antón, Galo and Alano, Marina's "nenos", who participated in the photographs and videos.
